Sunday March 1st to Friday March 6th, 2020

For those of you who have asked for a more affordable option, this 5-night MBT "Bootstrap Camp" Immersive may not be as luxurious as our other events, but don't be fooled. All the key ingredients are there for an amazing experience at an even more amazing price.

In truth, even though this is a YMCA camp, it is one of the best camps we have ever seen. Each multi-person modern cabin accommodation has heating and air-conditioning and comfortable pinewood framed bunk beds with pinewood walls and features throughout. We will only be using a portion of each cabin’s capacity to ensure a more comfortable experience for each attendee.

What's Included

Accommodation

The accommodation at Camp Widji is comprised solely of cabins which can sleep up to 20 people. However, for this event we will be limiting this number to 10 people per cabin. As each cabin is made up of 10 bunk beds, this means that everyone gets a bunk bed to themselves (double mattress). The bottom bunk for sleeping, the top bunk for your stuff (or vice versa).

Unless you are planning on attending as a group and taking over an entire cabin for ten, the cabins will be split into male and female occupancy.

Each cabin has an outdoor porch with seating and a shared bathroom area with three showers and two toilets.

As this is a YMCA camp, while mattresses will be provided, guests are required to bring their own toiletries, towels and bedding/sleeping bags.

Food and Drink

All meals, snacks and drinks are included with the MBT Immersive Experience. We have met the head of the catering team at Camp Widji and are confident that you can expect good food and consideration for your dietary requirements.  Rather unique for a camp such as this, all meals will be prepared from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. The first meal will be dinner on the day of arrival. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served over the next four days. All meals will be served buffet style in the main dining hall. The final meal will be breakfast on the last morning.

There will be snacks such as fresh fruit and nuts available throughout the day along with tea, coffee and water. Because of both the venue and the nature of the MBT Immersive Experience, soft drinks and alcohol will NOT be served. In fact, alcohol is strictly forbidden and we strongly recommend that you also refrain from drinking any kind of sugary beverage while you are participating in the program!

Airport Transportation

If you will be flying in to join us your nearest major airport will be Nashville International which is located  a short 8 miles away from the camp. Driving time is about 20 minutes depending on traffic. If you wish to rent a car, there is plenty of parking at the camp.

We will be providing one coach transfer in each direction to and from Nashville airport airport for those that need it. The pick up service will depart from the airport at 3.30pm on the day of arrival and depart from the camp at 10.30am on the day of departure, so we suggest you try to plan your trip to arrive in Nashville late morning or early afternoon on the day of arrival and then plan to get to the airport for your flight home sometime around noon on the day of departure.

Binaural Beats

About a week prior to this immersive, you will be sent a link to the binaural beats that Tom has created especially for these Immersive Experiences so that you can download them to the device of your choice.

These binaural beats are not available anywhere else and are your key to accessing each of the exercise sessions that Tom has devised for the experience.

You should bring these with you along with a good set of stereo headphones. Tom has suggested that the in-ear variety of earbuds actually work best with the binaural beats.

schedule

This MBT Immersive will follow a similar itinerary to previous MBT Immersives with the added benefit of an extra day added to the program. You will be free to arrive from 3pm onwards and settle into your chosen accommodation before joining Tom and the rest of the group for dinner at 6pm. If you wish to arrive earlier than 3pm, you should contact the property directly to request an early check-in if available. After dinner on the first evening, Tom will give an introduction to the program he has devised before you go straight into your first exercise. The next four days will follow the same routine. After breakfast, you will join Tom in the meeting room at 9am for your first exercises and discussions which will take you through to lunch at 1pm. There will be periods of down time each afternoon before the exercises recommence. Breaking off for dinner at 6pm, you will reconvene in the meeting room at 7pm. The next couple of hours will be given over to open discussion and Q & A. The immersive will finish after breakfast on the final morning when we all say our fond farewells.
